This Henry Easy Release 1 Qt. Adhesive Remover aids in the removal of vinyl flooring and carpet by breaking down the adhesive bond. The concentrated formula is designed to be diluted with water and applied over the existing floor covering. For added convenience, the remover can be poured directly through carpet.
- New floor coverings can be installed as soon as substrate is rinsed clean and allowed to dry
- Solvent-free, water-based concentrated formula

Fortunately, we bought the small size bottle (1 qt) just to see if it would work. It did not, $10 wasted. I think, perhaps, if you need to remove a fairly new floor this might work. Our floor was probably 50 years old and, honestly, there probably was not anything that would have worked.

Not sure why this is even sold as an adhensive...Not sure why this is even sold as an adhensive remover (does not make an impact). Save your money and use hot water instead (seriously).
