I have ordered numerous boxes of tile to assess in the room of installation and Merola has to be one of the best packaged tiles ever. Anyone on the fence between a Merola tile and another brand should go with Merola if he/she does not want to waste time reordering because of breakage.
As for this tile, in my conditions it always looked beige. On a gray or silver background it was simply beige with gray patches. Perhaps with its gray, white and black partners it looks silver, but to stand alone with its own kind it is simply not silver.
It is overall a wonderful tile with a nice smaller size that is becoming more difficult to find. If one does install this tile I would recommend using it in the direction it comes out of the box as all hex sides are not equal.
