This MSI Honey 12 in. x 12 in. Natural Stone Onyx Subway Mesh-Mounted Mosaic Tile features the natural striations and patterning of stone pieces in golden tones to add a light touch to decorating schemes. The highly polished finish adds style to any space and the impervious quality of the stone makes the mosaic suitable for most interior and some exterior applications for flexibility in your design planning. Coordinate with matching trim (not included) to add flair to kitchen backsplashes and countertops, bathrooms and other living areas.

  • 1 sq. ft. per piece, each piece sold individually, piece weight equals 4 lbs.
  • Grade 1, natural onyx mosaic for floor, wall and countertop use
  • 12 in. W x 12 in. L x 10 mm T mesh-mounted mosaic. 2 in. W x 4 in. L brick pieces

This tile has a warm natural look.
We love how our bathroom remodel turned out using this honey onyx tile. It's warm tones give a rich but natural look. It is a beautiful natural stone with slightly translucent qualities. I would recommend using a white or light colored adhesive when working with this tile.

What a great deal this onyx tile is!
Love the look of this subway tile. Everyone thinks it is VERY expensive - but it is a bargain at $9 per sq ft.

Makes the room POP
This onyx tile is beautiful on the wall. BEAUTIFUL. This was my first wall tile installation to do (bathtub surround) and I even ventured out and did the matching border pieces. Wasn't hard, experience is best teacher, but the install was very forgiving. The only thing that wasn't easy was cutting the stone. I used wet saw but still a tile would break if cutting through a vein, for example. Definitely more tedious than plain ceramic tile. I used a grinder to smooth edges if it wasn't a clean cut. I don't have photos right now but if possible, I'll add some soon.

These are very beautiful and really a great bargain at Home Depot (compared to other sources of honey onyx tile). We used them as wainscoting on 3 small walls of our bathroom.

Looks Great installed, difficult to cut.
This looks very nice installed and would use it again. However, if you have any smaller cuts to make it is really difficult to do. It breaks very easily while cutting. I wasted several pieces trying to make cuts that broke. So order a little extra. The finished product is worth the hassle.

Beautiful, but tough to work with
2 points to consider: Order 20% extra to allow for breakage. Order 50% extra if you require a very uniform look without lots of color variation.
