With multicolored tones of glass blended with beige and brown marble, this tile creates a distinct pattern. Hard to install
I picked up one sheet of this tile in the store while designing my new kitchen and it coordinated perfectly with the cabinets and countertops I chose. My beige faux granite countertop has subtle streaks of a warm rusty color running through it, and so did the tile. In order to get the sale price, I had to order my cases of tile online. Not one single inch in any of the cases had even a speck of the rusty veining of the original sheet I used to design my kitchen. So that was a disappointment. In spite of a beautiful assortment of polished marble, unpolished stone and glass tiles, it doesn't have the warmth I'd expected. The octagonal tiles are super hard to cut and to fit around outlets....for that reason alone, I'd never recommend this to anyone. After doing about a third of the tiling myself, I hired a pro to finish the job. He said the same thing. On the up side, the tile arrived unbroken and seems to be very good quality.

Great design and color, however, the design was “painted on”...
Great design and color, however, the design was “painted on” the surface and during cutting with a tile saw, there was a lot of chipping along the cut edge, even with a new blade, cutting the tile upside down and with tape along the cut.

Had to return as this is NOT floor tile
We purchased several boxes to do a shower floor and was told by the Home Depot associate that it could be used as floor tile but needed sealed before grouted. The day before we wanted to lay it out, I decide to contact MS International as their website also stated it was good for shower floors. They contacted me and said it definitely COULD NOT be used. Luckily I never started the project with this tile.

It can be used as a shower floor tile
We had returned this after reading and getting the manufacture recommendation NOT to use it as a shower floor. After doing some research, we decided to use it. First make sure you seal it after you thin set it in. You may even want to seal it twice. Then grout and your good to go. We love it. We matched it with Marazzi Montagna Rustic Bay floor tile for the bathroom floor and MARAZZI Travisano Trevi wall tile for the shower. Love how it turned out.
