Tundra Gray Basketweave 12 in. x 12 in. x 10 mm Polished Marble Mosaic Tile (10 sq. ft. / case) - Product information
With the MSI Tundra Gray Basketweave 12 in. x 12 in. Marble Mosaic Floor and Wall Tile, it's easy to add a splash of contemporary styling to your decor. This attractive tile features chips of natural marble tile in a basketweave pattern on a 12 in. x 12 in. mesh sheet that makes installation a much easier process. With trendy gray shades of natural marble in a polished finish, this tile creates a distinct pattern for install in kitchens, bathrooms and other residential or commercial spaces. Note: Inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer.

Great looking tile, if a bit pricey. The 2nd 10 sq feet was 150 dollars, although when I asked why it was up 30 dollars in two weeks, they honored the price I paid for the first box. Nice of Home Depot. Strange - store could not find the tile - I found it on my computer and ordered online.

installation issuesThis tile is a very attractive tile and in good condition. Several of the tiles were packaged while the glue was still wet which resulting in an annoying amount of cardboard stuck to the backside. When using this tile for a splash back, there is a very time-consuming detail of piecing small pieces around the many outlets in the kitchen. This tile took me twice as long as any other tile I've ever installed in a kitchen- and I've installed many. The little 1/4" pieces would fall out when grouting and were a headache to keep in place after that.
Very nice look, but time-consuming installation.

Beautiful in our renovated kitchenThe backsplash itself is beautiful, however it is very heavy and our contractor struggled with cutting pieces and positioning. It was also VERY difficult to find "pencils" to finish the tiles that did not butt up against the granite countertop or a cabinet. I ended up having to go to a tile store and do my best to match the tiles. I ordered the finishing pencils from an independent tile store and per sq/ft, the pencils were more expensive than the 12 x 12 tiles themselves. Having said all that... we're still happy with our choice.
