The MSI Onyx Sand 12 in. x 12 in. Beige Porcelain Mesh-Mounted Mosaic Tile features warm beige tones with slight variation from piece to piece to give it subtle visual impact. The durable porcelain is suitable for walls, countertops and medium-duty floors to accommodate various design schemes in kitchens, halls, corridors and outdoor balconies and terraces. The porcelain resists frost and is impervious to water for durability in the elements.
- 1 square foot per piece, each piece sold individually. Piece weight is 3 lbs.
- Grade 1, porcelain mosaic tile for floor, wall and countertop use
- 12 in. width x 12 in. length x 10 mm thick mesh-mounted mosaic. 2 in. W x 2 in. length brick pieces
- Glazed smooth finish with a medium sheen and a slight variation in tone
- P.E.I. Rating III is suitable for medium-duty residential floors including kitchens, halls, terraces and areas used more often with normal footwear and small amounts of dirt
- Impervious tile has water absorption of less than 0.5% for indoor or some outdoor use
- C.O.F. greater than .50 is recommended for standard residential and commercial applications and is marginally skid resistant
- Completely frost resistant for indoor or outdoor applications; use a latex-modified thinset for acceptable bond strength

tile chipped
The color of the mosaics match well to the 18x18s. But on each piece of mosaics there were many tiles chipped. These tiles look to be cut from a larger piece, not individually formed. I ordered 20 pieces and every single one of them was chipped. I was not looking for a 'tumbled' look.

Very nice tile with a strong mesh back. Did not...Very nice tile with a strong mesh back. Did not give it 5 stars because some of the tiles when looked at closely were not cut smoothly but had small chips along the edge

Beautiful tile!This tile is beautiful! We got the 18 x 18 size tiles for the walls and ceiling of our shower/steam room and the mosaics will be used on the floor. This tile hasn't been installed yet, so I can't comment on ease of installation, but this is a nice thick porcelain tile and a great buy! One of the other reviews mentioned that there was a lot of chipped edges on the mosaic tiles, but that was not the case on mine!
Can't wait to see the finished bathroom!

Fast deliveryThe floor tile came a week ahead of schedule. It matched the wall great ! The 2"x2" tile conformed perfectly to the floor. The slope of our shower floor was at different angles because of an off center (both ways) existing floor drain. It looks luxurious. Nicest shower in the house. Would definitely recommend this product for irregular sloped floors.
