Traffic Master warranty is worthless and Home Depot does not back up this poor product. I owned this flooring for 6 years. It looked awful after just 3 years. Contacted Traffic Master at year 3 and did everything they recommended to fix and it didn’t work. At year 6 I couldn’t stand it anymore and filed a warranty claim with Traffic Master. They made me jump thru quite a few hoops to prove the flooring was defective and eventually denied my supposedly ‘Life Time Warranty’. Flooring was supposed to hold up to just about anything. My issue was just simple scuff marks that wouldn’t go away using Traffic Masters guidance and recommended remedies. I went through the trouble to send them samples of the damaged flooring and they even admitted the flooring was permanently damaged from scuff marks, but since their recommended methods to remove scuff marks didn’t work I must have abused it or did something wrong. Really??? My household consists of 2 senior adults and 2 yorkie dogs! Bottom line, DON’T buy this flooring.

Something to considerSo this is a free floating vinyl floor. It comes in 3 foot lengths and has overlapping glued joints. It is simple in principal to install but you really need to perfect a technique to install because the glue is unforgiving. Installed it looks great. It cuts easily with a sharp utility knife. Use a small square to get nice angles. I think a modestly capable person can easily install it. It does scratch and it will dent but it takes a lot to dent it. Don't slide furniture and be sure if you have hard plastic or metal tabs on the bottom of furniture legs you must remove them or they will scratch. The underpayment needs to be smooth and flat. Mind the 1/8 inch perimeter gap because this stuff does move and if you install it too tight it will buckle a bit. If you mess up on the install, get a blow dryer and heat the glue strips to get then to separate without ruining the piece.
If you have kids and pets that are hard on floors and you don't want to pay for hardwood or install cheap wood laminates, this is a viable option.

Awesome floorsAmazing value, and the finished product looks stunning!!
Advice to anyone using this product:
1. Buy extra blades for your utility knife...you'll need to change it after a bit to make clean cuts when scoring
2. You don't need to cut all the way through the tile to score...just a quick swipe while applying a little pressure and it'll snap. You might need to bend back and forth a little to get it to snap.
3. Account for all the end pieces by ordering extra...you'll make a lot of cuts and have excess that you can't use, so make sure you order enough.
4. Be careful to line up the tile perfectly, cuz once it's stuck...it's not going anywhere. Trust me!
5. I used Blue Hawk underlayment that I got from Lowe's. It's super easy to use and provides a tiny bit of cushion while also providing thermal insulation if you're installing in a basement like me.
6. Pick your favorite Pandora station, jam out with some friends and enjoy the experience, because it's just that easy. :)

If I can do it, you can too.The product looks fantastic in my bathroom. The installation was fairly simple once I got the hang of how to properly measure and cut so that the tabs end up on the correct ends. Burned thru about half a dozen planks making mistakes so make sure you have extra. The hardest part is cutting around door jams and other places where you have to cut the board both vertically and horizontally and still maintain the adhesive strips for the next row. But otherwise, a box cutter and a straight edge and tape measure are all you need. I put down over existing vinyl that was glued to the subfloor because removing it was actually tearing up the wood beneath. You can see the before and after pics below.

Must get placement just right at beginning. Curves are difficult to fit, Transition pieces are awkward and easily knocked off after installed.

I'm in loveGiving my room a makeover I had a grey and white palate in mind. I had a hard time choosing between the options they had for the grayish colors because the sample I received of Grey Maple was dark and I was aiming for a lighter grey. I originally wanted a white washed color but when I saw the samples I just thought the grey maple looked so realistic and expensive. I saw other customer pictures and finally made the decision to get Grey Maple and I'm so happy I did. The small sample I had before was of the darkest plank that came in the pack. The other planks were the right color and the few dark planks in the mix gave the flooring a perfect look.
Installation was so easy I almost couldn't believe it. It is sturdy yet easy to cut right through. The hardest part was actually prepping for the flooring. Maybe the first few plank was hard to cut but you get the hang of it.
After it was all done I was just ecstatic with the outcome. It has been maybe 5 months since Ive had the flooring and I'm still in love. No scratches from the dogs yet and everything looks great still.

Comparison to Allure Dove MapleI wished someone had compared these two colors/floors so I didn't have to order both, I'm going to do so now:
Grey Maple:
Slightly Thicker
Lifetime residential warranty
Shinier with less wood grain bumps
5" instead of 6"
Beveled edges
More distinction in the wood grain outline
Dove Maple
More of a flat finish, less shine (classier in my book)
Darker overall, less color variation - no slight tan hues.
Wider planks, no beveled edge
