The edges of the planks don't appear to be completely straight and don't always butt up against the other piece. Even though I've measured multiple times and using a straight edge, some pieces have a small gaps along the edge. You can see in the image where the edges meet and where there is a slight raised space. I've removed the problem planks and had to try others that ended up fitting better. There's nothing on the floor below and the floor is clean and level. What's frustrating is that it doesn't occur down the entire plank, just little pockets.
After a bit of frustration, I decided to use carpet tape along the edges to ensure they stick together and that seems to work. Also found that using less than the 36" length is more forgiving on the edge butt issue.
Pros: none
Cons: 1) it's not skid proof, 2) planks are too narrow, 6" wide would be better to work with 3) not sure I'm using the right adhesive since there aren't any instructions that come with the product. The store wasn't sure either.
Poor quality control may be why some colors are on sale and have been discontinued.
