Henry 237 AcoustiGum 1 Gal. Acoustical Ceiling Tile Adhesive is a latex-based adhesive designed for installation of acoustical ceiling tile. It is also handy for installing wall paneling, drywall, particle board, moldings and FRP panels. This adhesive has a fast initial grab.

Did not work. (Product was not expired, but some containers on shelf were months past their expir...
Did not work. (Product was not expired, but some containers on shelf were months past their expiration date, so buyer beware.). After days with support, tiles were still falling off. Peeled off the adhesive and it MAYBE had the tackiness of Silly Putty. Went with Liquid Nails heavy duty construction adhesive (not the new extreme) and it had almost instant grab with no temporary support needed. By the end of the day would have had to destroy the tile to remove.

This adhesive did the perfect job for my project installing...This adhesive did the perfect job for my project installing 650sf of Armstrong ceiling tile. Placing dabs (large enough to fill a shot glass) of glue three inches from each corner seemed to be the perfect amount.

This was my first project that centered around installing Armstrong...This was my first project that centered around installing Armstrong ceiling tile. I contacted Armstrong and they highly recommended using the Henry adhesive for the best results. I simply buttered the back of the tile with a spackling knife and positioned the tile on the ceiling. I experienced no adhesion issues and the project met my expectations with ease and satisfaction. Would recommend both the Armstrong tile and the Henry adhesive to anyone planning this project.

Excellent product. It went on easily and had no smell at all. It didn't dry for at least 20 minut...Excellent product. It went on easily and had no smell at all. It didn't dry for at least 20 minutes, so I had plenty of time to adjust the tiles. I was a little worried, since a tube of adhesive would have been easier to use, but this was very useable and economical.
