Update your home with help from the sleek, contemporary M. S. International Inc. 18 in. x 31 in. Tan Brown Polished Granite Floor and Wall Tile. This handsome brown tile is made of Grade 1, natural stone construction that is suitable for your floor, wall or countertop. Its unglazed, polished smooth finish features a high sheen with moderate variation in tone for a natural look. It offers a frost-resistant design for long-lasting use. With a large selection of accessories to choose from, this tile can easily be laid in a pattern or single layout and is suitable for residential and commercial installations, including kitchens and bathrooms. NOTE: Inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

I took a little while before I warmed up to this tile after first opening the packages. Now that it is installed, I really like it. We were looking for more of a warm look in our new kitchen project to match the gummy cherry cabinets I've been constructing. We did have a couple issues with our order--of the 9 boxes (2 tiles per box) we ordered, 1 box was significantly differently in color (much lighter in color) and we will not be able to use and 1 box had tiles that were roughly 1/8" thicker than all the other tiles (I didn't know they were thicker until I went to put them in place and I thought I added too much mortar underneath). Since they are in the back corner and butt up to the oven, it is not noticeable thank goodness. In the video of installing this product, they show additional tile installed underneath the front and side edges. We did not install this because we didn't like the look. Instead, I will be putting some type of crown molding underneath.

Great ProductI purchased three ( 3) separate orders of the Tan Brown granite tile and none of the boxes received were the same lot / color. Each order appeared to be from a different lot to include a dark, medium and a light design. Also, one order shipment had two broken tiles which created a big problem because I had the tile scheduled to be installed on a scheduled date that I could not cancel or reschedule without having to pay an installer for a cancellation fee. I called the customer service department and received a credit for the broken tile and decided to make a mixed pattern design with the remaining good tile. The results came out okay which to an individual who didn't know about the discrepancy everyone thought that the project ( counter top) was perfect. I would not necessarily recommend this fix to anyone but will admit that the tile looked great with the fix implemented. Bottom line... the Tan Brown is a great product but make sure all orders are purchased at the same time and not three individual orders as I did !

Second of all, dealing with Home Depot to get these tiles worked out well - my local store was extremely helpful. However, actually getting the tiles became quite the hassle. I had to return and reorder them six times before I finally had a complete order of unbroken tile. The manufacturer just would not package them sufficiently! It took months to finish our project because of these hiccups. So yes, it's beautiful, but if you're on a tight schedule I would find something else.

Even after two attempts I couldn't receive full order. First...Even after two attempts I couldn't receive full order. First time 4 out of 5 boxes came damaged. Second time 2 out of 4 boxes were damaged. As of today I am waiting for remaining 2 boxes. So I have granite from three different lots. Completely unsatisfied.

What a messThe box of tile arrived broken to pieces and couldn't even get an idea if it would work for the desired project. I had to get help to return since it was so heavy. Then had to drive it to Home Depot. I was so discouraged I didn't even reorder. Very disappointed.
