Very very good blade
This blade, if used properly, is a very good buy. It cuts well, and didn't get too hot even thought I was cutting a solid granite countertop. Cut in small depths, using several passes at increased depths. Avoid trying to cut the entire 1-2 inch depth in one pass. This blade cut well and has enough left to make many more cuts. Very good value.

Absolutely CUTS Granite and Stone...There was only one review when I bought this blade (and mine is the 2nd). I had concerns about the manufacturer stating it would DRY cut granite, stone, etc. WELL, IT DRY CUTS GRANITE AND STONE EASILY! I was demolishing a ktichen, but wanted to salvage most of the granite countertops -about 80sqft laid out in 4 major sections, which required 3 cuts in order to prevent cracking during removal. All 3 cuts were from 24 to 42 inches, DRY (not wet) cutting, and into 1/2" to 1-1/2" granite (thick at edges) with a 3/4" plywood backer underneath. I was very surprised at how well and fast it cut. I went very slow at first but went faster with the next 2 cuts. You can hear and feel the blade and sense when you're moving it too fast.
Did it cut chip free? Yes, but only when moving at a steady and slightly slower pace. If you want to simply make the fastest cuts possible, it will chip the edges of the granite (and stone), mostly small chips (1/4"-1/2").
Straight and smooth surface after cutting? Smooth enough - I used it on a handheld portable 7-1/2" saw so I didn't expect too much, with a 2x4 to line it up (not freehand). Cuts were fairly straight.
One issue - requires a steady firm hand on the saw if you want a straight and well-aligned cut. Any slight angle or tilt on the saw and the blade will track that path.
Dust - Sicne I was cutting granite and stone DRY, I expected TONS OF DUST. I was not dissappointed. Wear a good mask and good safety glasses or goggles.
Overheating - yes, the blade will overheat if you make long DRY cuts or in my case, letting the rotating blade just "sit" in a spot too long. Cut for 30-120 seconds, then let it cool for the same timeframe while you grab some fresh air somewhere else.
