dual surface is very useful when sanding freshly cut glass. packaging indicates it may be used to clean wet glass tile saw blade periodically by cutting a small slide of the stone. I am curious to try this when needed.

QEP Rubbing StoneStone actually broke during use. It is too soft to smooth the edges and ends of floor tile. When you pass it over an edge it will groove the stone but not dress the edge. The material the stone is made out of simply is not hard enough and the glue holding the grit together is too weak.

After a few cuts of tile, the porcelain adheres to the blade, making it dull. If you run this stone through your tile saw, it helps remove the porcelain bits from the blade, effectively "sharpening" it by exposing the diamonds. I would say that this is a must have to anyone that is using a bladed tile saw, especially since this is only $10 and a cheap blade is $30.
