Update your home with help from the sleek, contemporary M. S. International Inc. 18 in. x 31 in. Tropic Brown Polished Granite Floor and Wall Tile. This brown tile with leafy grains is made of Grade 1, natural stone construction that is suitable for your floor, wall or countertop. Its unglazed, polished smooth finish features a high sheen with moderate variation in tone for a natural look. It offers a frost-resistant design for long-lasting use. With a large selection of accessories to choose from, this tile can easily be laid in a pattern or single layout and is suitable for residential and commercial installations, including kitchens and bathrooms. NOTE: Inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

Granite is polished, but it is porous. It looks nice, but not sure if the porosity will be an issue. I installed these as kitchen countertops. The polished edges are nice. What I received is more of a grey/black color scheme. There is some brown in it, especially when sunlight comes through the window. Thickness is 7/16”.

Good concept and looks nice, but very porous graniteI think the concept of this product was excellent, and it worked out well. You MUST have/rent a large professional-type tile saw to make the cuts. the pieces of ranite are just too large to be able to make the cuts straight with anything else.
I was disappointed in how porous the material is, and the granite will take a lot of sealing to be usable, but it looks nice.

On my first order, half were broke. Returned. On my second order, 3/4 arrived broken. Returned, and gave up. Incidentally, on the second return, Home Depot's return system was down, so it took two trips to get the second order returned. Not cool.
One could order three times the amount needed, but why bother. It isn't THAT nice. IMO the packing for shipment that is the problem, not handling during shipping. The packing method simply is not robust enough, and they are careless as well. One tile box arrived soaking wet while the packing material and shipping box was dry. Clearly, someone was putting wet product into dry shipping containers. Whatever support the tile boxing might have offered was lost since it was limp wet. Also not cool.

The tiles came in uniform sizing, but from one box...The tiles came in uniform sizing, but from one box to the other the color has a bit of variance by at least one shade I spent a lot of time and money to cut for my counter, and could not return and redo the effort taking apart many boxes to find granite tiles that were a somewhat match.
